Sanctity of Marriage
Wes Enos believes that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman. Wes believes that the people of Iowa should have the right to vote on the definition of marriage and as a senator, Wes will work to ensure that Iowans are given the right to vote on a Marriage Amendment to the Iowa Constitution.
2nd Amendment Rights
Wes Enos believes that every law abiding citizen has a fundamental, constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Wes will work to advance pro-gun legislation in the Iowa Senate that would expand the rights of law abiding gun owners in Iowa.
Illegal Immigration
Wes Enos believes that life begins at conception and ends at natural death. Wes also believes that all human life has an intrinsic value and must be protected by law.
Wes Enos believes that legal immigration is important to Iowa and will work to protect the rights of legal immigrants while prosecuting those who violate our immigration laws.
