Wes is a lifelong resident of Eastern Polk County. Raised in Altoona, Wes is a graduate of Southeast Polk High School and Grandview University. Wes moved to Bondurant in 2009 and is currently serving his first term on the Bondurant City Council. Wes also serves as Bondurant's Representative on the Metro Waste Authority Board of Directors, and President of the Mallard Point Neighborhood Association.
Wes was appointed to the Bondurant Planning and Zoning Board in 2011, and was first elected to the City Council in 2013. Professionally, Wes works as an Analyst for Wells Fargo, in the past, has managed and consulted on multiple political efforts and organizations both across the State of Iowa and Nationally and is recognize as a leader for Tax Reform, Sound Fiscal Policy and Smaller Government. Wes has been a consummate advocate for the City of Bondurant and has used the relationships he as built over the years to promote economic development and secure grants for civic projects that better the quality of life for Bondurant residents.
Wes is passionate about the City of Bondurant and is eager to continue his work on behalf of Bondurant citizens and the city as a whole.
